Please Note: Most of these videos were made using ACP 4.2 and Planner 1.3. We are working on new videos for ACP 5.1 and Planner 3.0.

To get the most out of the videos, resize your browser so that the entire movie, including the player controls at the bottom, fits without scrolling. Use the player controls at the bottom to pause and resume the video when things are going too fast for you to absorb. Finally, if the movies don't play smoothly in your browser, you'll need to install the free Flash Player 9 plugin.

Introduction to ACP (4 min)

After you've seen the Introduction to ACP video, then look over the others that cover areas you're interested in.

ACP Web Browser Videos

We haven't yet produced all of the videos for the new ACP 5 web interface. It is completely different, much more active and with a completely different look and feel. Here's the first video:

Video #1: Acquiring a Single Image (4 min)

Until we get all of these videos produced, we suggest you try it for real at our training and demonstration observatory. The link below will take you to a form where you can create an account for yourself and start using it:

ACP Planner Videos

The new ACP Planner with rotator support is a breakthrough in planning for automated observing runs. Learn why in these three videos.

Video #1: Planning Automated Imaging (2 min)

Video #2: Guided Tour and How Planner Works (5 min)

Video #3: Using a Motorized Camera Rotator (8 min.)

ACP Automation Videos

As a quick way to get familiar with ACP's observatory automation capabilities and features, we've provided a few video showing various aspects of ACP. These videos were produced with ACP 3.3 and ACP 4.0 is current. This does not detract from the videos' value in getting the feel of ACP (though the setup options have been expanded).

Video #1: Introduction to ACP Videos (4 min)

Video #2: Single Images of 3 Deep Sky Objects (4 min)

Video #3: LRGB Astrophotography (72 images) (7 min)

Video #4: NEO Followup (Orbital Elements & Offset Tracking) (5 min)

Video #5: Setup Options Review (8 min)
