    Default Win 11 ActiveX issue?

I finally got all the hardware to talk to ACP after a fatal disk crash on the old Win 10pc. Still a Planner issue on the new Win 11 pc but not serious.

First try to run sky flats with Autoflat and I get an 'ActiveX component can't create object' fault. The log and the plan are attached.

Next I tried AcquireImages with an exoplanet plan. I get ' ActiveX component can't create object: 'PinPoint.Plate' ' The log and plan for this also attached. These are both tried and true scripts so I have to assume this is yet another installation(?) Win 11 problem. I have not tested any other scripts to date but will be doing this over the next few days.

    Any advice most gratefully received.

Ok, I have tried all the 'Run as Administrator' recommendations along with the left-shift then right click with all the associated apps. ACP itself doesn't allow this. I have run the ACP installer again. The result is exactly the same as the first effort above, even the identical logs. AcquireImages and Autoflat give 'ActiveX' faults. Disabling plate solving does not change the outcome. I have not tried any other scripts.

    Needing help here.

This sounds like Dick Berg's issue. And I am looking at the Planner issue, but I have been taking the weekend off and part of today too. Amazingly it sounds like the installer is not doing object registrations and yet is not giving errors!!! I can't reproduce it here, dang it. I will do some research to see if I can dig anything up.
