This was taken from the burbs in Melbourne, Australia. It is a planetary nebula located in the constellation of Hydra. It has a fairly low surface brightness.

Terry, That's a really splendid image. So sharp, all the way to the corners. I bet you slept through the whole imaging acquisition process!

Thanks for the great feedback guys. Dick, you are correct. I slept through the imaging runs. I really like that part.

Terry,
I got to looking at some of your other images. All of them are beautiful and some worthy of sending off to the APOD (http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/lib/apsubmit2015.html). There are some real southern skies gems. - I particularly liked the Statue of Liberty nebula (NGC 3576). These are images of objects most people on the topside of the Earth never see.

Dick,
Wow, that really means a great deal. The Statue of Liberty shot was imaged from the city as well. It's a pretty dramatic looking object. Narrowband really makes it pop. I have submitted some images, but no luck Perhaps one day I will get lucky. Once again, thank you for taking to time to look and comment. Your posting has definitely made my day.

From the guardian of the Sharpless Catalog, that is a fantastic comment to get. I would like to get some OIII data next year. I love that terrific bow wave in OIII. Fairly dim object from the city.
