Editing messages with embedded image(s)

For some reason, all of a sudden embedded images



are resulting in not only the image showing inline in the message, but also full size int he attachments area. Weird. Now if you edit a message like this, and Go Advanced, you will see Javascript errors and mangled layout. A close look reveals

This is happening within the forum scripts on the server end (PHP). I'm not sure why this "just started happening". It is not a browser issue, it's happening in Chrome and Firefox. I'll try to zero in on this when I can.
