Default Problem with SkyQuickCapture and SkyClickCapture

I just installed Planner 4.2a. ACPPlanGen itself seems to open and run OK, but SkyQuickCapture and SkyClickCapture both just give me a "File not found" error.

    Any ideas?

It is possible that you need to run TheSky X ONCE as Administrator (once only) for it to register its interfaces with Windows. After that the capture programs should be able to communicate with it.

Bob, that worked. I've been using TheSky6, being reluctant to deal with the SkyX user interface. But - SkyX does have several useful features so I loaded it, observed the same problem as originally described, ran TheSkyX as an Admin, and the plane captures worked.

    Thanks,

OK, great. For some reason their installation process doesn't register their programming/scripting interfaces with Windows. Running once as Admin allows it to self-register those interfaces. Make sure you don't run as Admin routinely.
