    Default CalibrateGuider error

    Hi Bob,

so alright, I seem to be pretty set up right on my spanish system. I try to run the CalibrateGuider-script, and get the following output:
    Code:
MaxIm DL is version 5.24Imager is FLI
Using focus offsets and star mags from FilterInfo.txt
Selecting filter Luminance from previous ACP run at 20151027@193222 UTC
    Imager readout modes:
      0 is 8 MHz
1 is 8 MHz (RBI Flood)
Guider is SX Universal (no rotator)
Guider plate scale is 1.0 arcsec/pix. Guided dither with main imager pixels
    Max unguided exposure 120 sec.
(assuring that FocusMax is running now...)
    Calculated unbinned plate scales (arcsec/pix): H = 0.83 V = 0.83
    Calculated field of view (arcmin): H = 46.3 V = 34.8
Plate solving With GSC 1.1 (ok for wider fields)
All-sky plate solving will be attempted when needed
Search 15 deg-square area for suitable target stars
Looking for stars between mags 6 and 9
    ***Calibration failed.
No idea what is happening here...

To abswer my own question, this seems to be yet another Autoslew issue - I am collecting them right now.
    DestinationSideOfPier RA 15:43:33
    Dec +22:55:13: East
    DestinationSideOfPier
    RA 15:43:33
    Dec +22:55:13: East
    Slewing: False
    RightAscension: 15:47:09
    Declination: +15:22:39
    Tracking: True
    SideOfPier: West
Autoslew is returning the wrong DestinationSideOfPier, as far as I can tell. I went to a position on the East, then asked the DestinationSideOfPier value, and got East. SideOfPier, at the same time, was West, but I guess it should have been East...

OK, but you still need to determine actually where the mount flips, and how far it can track past the flip point. There is a test described in the help that you really do need to perform. Then set the GEM settings in ACP:
