Bob:
Eons ago you removed the park command from my weather script. You did this due to me using direct guide. If you Parked the scope TSX disconnected the scope, then Maxim will crash since Maxim is using directguide. I'm just now getting around to asking if you would please figure out why in the morning the scope is NOT parked. I still cannot have my weather script park the scope since I'm still using directguide. Do you need to add a line in the shutdown obs script to park the scope? I guess if for some reason the scope was not connected, not sure why that would be, that the script would simply skip this step and not crash the system. I hate to leave the scope aimed up as dust and condensation may fall on the primary mirror. Thanks for your help I'll add this, the system has performed splendidly now for the past several weeks. I mean not a hiccough in the bunch. I love ACP Expert 8....see my post about start in unsafe weather.....
