    Default General Questions

    Hi,
I've recently completed a remote imaging build and am looking at using acp for control but have a few questions-
Is acp compatible with the aag cloud watcher?
I will be using a dual setup, can acp/maxim control two CCDs?
Is there an alternative to maxim that could be used if this is not the case?
    Many Thanks,
    Gordon

    Hello!!

Is acp compatible with the aag cloud watcher?
Yes, but don't install the web page changes, they are for an old version of ACP. I plan to contact Lunatico on this.

I will be using a dual setup, can acp/maxim control two CCDs?
Only one at a time. You can save configurations in MaxIm and ACP and then quickly switch back and forth, but a single observing run that uses one or the other camera/telescope is not possible.

Is there an alternative to maxim that could be used if this is not the case?
No, and even if MaxIm could do it, ACP's architecture would prevent simultaneous usage of multiple observing systems.
