Hi again,
i keep bothering u all, sorry for that.
i just spend 8 hours with my scope, computer and acp in the hope to get it fully functional.
again i must say u have an awesome program, load the coordinates, plate solving, centering taking exposures, it is all too good to be true
so here is the issue:
i can open maxim dl, connect cameras start autoguiding and taking a bunch of exposures, doesnt give any problems.
however i ask acp to acquire an image than slewing starts, exposure starts, solving starts, centering starts, autoguiding starts takes a star with snr of about 7 or more, interval of 2 seconds BUT the guiding doesnt work, it is like the signal for the correction doesnt get send to the scope anymore . And it gets stranger, closing down acp doesnt help, i can not guide anymore till i do a full reboot of the computer and than when i only use maxim dl i can get it to guide again like i have been doing the past 10 days.
i have been trying for about 5 hours everything i could think if, using all different usb ports and switching them to all combinations, trying all sorts of settings in maxim and acp till even a complete reinstall of maxim, acp, ascom plafptform, all drivers needed, in short words everything i imagined could be wrong but no success
I am at a loss, and it is too stupid to give up, everything else works.
autoguider: zw optical 120 mc-s
driver asi st4 telescope driver
settings in maxim: in setup ASCOM and on guiding tab settings ASCOM DIRECT ( i tried all other options aswell but none can connect to the guider except the ascom direct.)
that is the strangest of all the guider is using basic ascom and no other 3rd party software to guide.
and on top of it all, i know yesterday i had issues but all of a sudden it worked for a while, guiding and exposures, so i thought it was ok but apparantly not, today in 5 hours of trying i was never successful.
i hope u can help me out, please tell me if their are any logs somewhere showing what is happening, cause i wouldnt know if there are any and where to find them. I dont think i will be able to solve this on my own, i dont know if u have kind of a support where u take of over my system or live chat or so, would be helpfull i think.
have a great night.
regards
stephane
