Geeze I should have seen this before. Please note that this procedure is really meant for getting started, using the "bare metal" features to get the system checked out. Later you will use the much simpler web interface for routine observing.

I assume you are doing Getting Started Step 10: Taking an Automated Image. You got the plan right (though the one that generated the image was different, it doesn't matter). But you missed the step of loading the observing logic script into the console and then running it, at which time it will ask for the plan. I snapped that page and have made notations:
