How to move ACP to a new computer

I have a new computer and want to move my ACP 7.0 licensed copy. Do you send me a link or? (I cannot read the serial number off the original install - it seems to be encrypted, and I do not recall how you helped me install it the first time. Did you send me a link or something?

Hi Glenn,

If you start your old ACP and then look in Help/About or Help/Enter License... , you'll see the license information that you can copy to the new Enter License... window.

Remember to save a copy of your old profile (ACP/Save Profile As...). Then you can copy that file to your new computer, read it back in (ACP/Restore Profile...) and all your settings will be restored.

Hi Dick,

Thanks much for that nudge in the right direction. I was trying to do what you suggested with the observatory a thousand miles away in the mountains while prepping a new computer here at home. I couldn't see the characters well when remoting in because of the display size and ended up copying and pasting and mailing it to myself. Had a minor issue with 'Profile Restore Fail' but was able to fix that
