Activex runtime error 429 "Can't create object"

Bob,
I find that I cannot open ACP and get this error message.
"Run-time error '429'
ActiveX component can' create object"

I also can't use Focus Max as it says that when I try to use or setup Acquire Star

" PinPoint serial validation failed- no validator engine, code= -2147221005"

I am at Rancho Hidalgo trying to get my 24 up and running.

This was only the tip of the iceberg. Somehow the entire ACP was removed, registry data and all, plus other things were also removed like the common crypto DLL used for licenses, and some VB components! I reinstalled ACP and reconfigured most of it, and that restored the other missing pieces as well.
