Thanks a million Dick. I got this to work. I copied and pasted your code (I hope that was all-right!), changed the title to my name and it worked. I'm in awe of those who can write code. I'm pretty good operating computers but haven't learned to code. It appears to me that it's akin to learning a new language, which means work!

    Thanks again,

    Larry

Glad you got it working, Larry. Of course, no problem using the code. I finally implemented Jonas' SkyChart in my ACP too.

Yes, I believe it will work in ACP 7.0

This works with 8.0 SR 1.

I used the "Customize" link at the bottom of the page and selected the "Dynamic Image Request." This then gives a URL that is a simple GIF file.

I also simplified the URL by removing the Julian Date and Universal Time options.

Of note, a bad URL will cause the "Bullseye Grid" to appear centered at the top of the tiddler and the tiddler appears locked up.

FYI I try my best to keep the API and environment in the browser compatible from release to release. If you modify an existing tiddler, including the Main Menu one, you'll need to merge your changes with any that came in on a new release of ACP. SR1 has no web changes from V8.

    Bob,

I appreciate your last comment here. I hope you will remember to say something about web changes in each subsequent release.

When there are no changes, it means that I can merely drop my modified author.html back on top of the new release version without having to do all the tedious editing (just the one-off "edit" to force recompiling the index.asp file).

Good point. I should include this info in the Release notes.

Except there will almost always be web changes :-)
