ACP Does not see Maxim DL 5

Hi ACP will not install on new machine cannot see Maxim DL5 and prompts for it to be installed. Maxim DL 5 is installed and operates. New machine has win 8 as OS. I am using the Demo install. Any ideas anybody Regards Peter Woods

Try starting up MaxIm then installing ACP (this is a guess, not a known solution). If that doesn't work then let me know and we'll take the next steps. It may be a while before the Win8 world settles down!

Oh good! Apparently you hadn't started MaxIm (which registers its objects with the OS) and therefore our installer didn't know about it. Thanks for reporting back!!! Let us know how you get on with Win8.
