I have ACP functioning correctly so I've moved on to getting Scheduler to function properly. The issues I can't find a explanation for are:
Star brightness ranges. I am using NB filters 3 nm in a White LP sky zone. Its almost impossible to focus on anything less bright than a mag 2 star here. I have a dark sky site I'll use for LRGB that the standard routine will probably be completely acceptable, but what can I do, if anything, to select brighter stars to focus on?
Also I haven't found a way to get the filters recognized by ACP to transfer to Scheduler. On my Observatory info in Instruments and Equipment it shows the filters exactly as they are listed in Maxim. In Scheduler however its the default Clear ... HAlpha U B instead of Ha SII and OIII. Watching Scheduler work it says it can't match the filter name and is defaulting to the Clear filter. Am I overlooking something?
Thanks for any help and if this is the wrong forum sorry couldn't figure where to stick this.
