Default ACP starts sidereal tracking when connecting mount

I noticed recently that when I connect the Astro-Physics V2 driver connects, it's starting sidereal tracking even though the mount was previously parked. In the past I would not of had ACP connected after a run, but being remote, I've started it while doing different things. I think that has lead to pier crashes, and most likely was the cause of mount position loss as the clutches were slipping. Is there a setting to change to prevent this?

Michael, this is a setup parameter in the APv2 driver (start tracking on connect - or some such words). ACP doesn't have anything to do with it. Generally, you don't want tracking to start on connect.

Thanks I figured it was the driver and not ACP

Thanks Jim, I would not have known that.

Fixed thanks to the AP and ACP genius Jim! If I had noticed that was setup in the beginning that way I wouldn't of lost 2 weeks of imaging! Oh the joys of working out the bugs of a remote setup! So many things you take for granted when it's in your back yard. Jim, maybe we should put together a sticky for AP mount remote setup suggestions from all the things I've learned the hard way!
