While only at the tip of the iceberg, last night gave me a flavor of what is possible. I'd been chasing some guiding issues that had prevented auto guiding from being consistent but last night I successfully ran three plans. Modest targets, two open star clusters, that I could use short exposures and watch the events. I was facinated to watch ACP interact with the software components and step through it's paces. After watching a couple plans execute I chose a target that would require 10 and 20 min exposures and after watching the target acquisition, went to bed. I had no expectations for success and I fought the urge to get up and "check" on ACP. When I did check in the morning I was delighted to find the target images on disk and fresh sky flats waiting for me. I had a smile on my face all day. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with all these images. What a great problem to have.
Thanks ACP
