Horizon

Hi Bob (and everyone else on the ACP Comm Ctr):

I was wondering if anybody knows of a convenient program or script or technique for migrating the horizon from Sky6 or SkyX over to ACP?

I originally did a nice horizon in Sky6. Sky6 and SkyX have different text formats, but I was able to alter the text file, and get my horizon working in SkyX.

So I can work with either horizon file, Sky6 or SkyX.

I would appreciate any advice on copying the horizon over to ACP. Thanks so much for any help.

In the add on section there is a horzon application that can easily produce a horizon file for both ACP and Sky6. I do not know if the application can read a sky6 horizon file. The application is great and it is very very easy to produce a new horizon file for ACP. Probably even easier to just create a new one rather than try to convert if that does not work.

Hi Todd- I'm new to ACP, so do not know what the "add-on" is. Can you point me in the right direction. I'll see if the horizon can be imported. That would be my preference. I've really got my hands full getting up to speed, and don't want to redo the horizon, unless I have to. Thanks. Rob

Hi Todd- Problem solved. I googled ACP Horizon Editor, and found the add-on programs, which included the horizon editor. That program lets you import a Sky6 horizon, and save it as an ACP horizon. It even puts the file in the right place, so I'm all set. Thanks for your help. Rob

Rob -- This is the program we were talking about on the phone. I'm glad you looked at it and I will remember that it has the TheSky 6 import capability.
