    Default Website compatibility?

    Hi Bob,
My PC updated to the latest IE.
But I could not upload a message on your Comm centre. (tried 32 bit and 64bit versions)
There are additional lines after each carriage return.
I get a message that the message is too short and requires at least 10 characters.
I have now uploaded with Mozilla - works fine.
Could there be some compatibility problems?

    Dale

Oh boy... the Forum software is not mine, it is vBulletin. For several (good) of reasons I have chosen to remain on the current version. I don't have IE9 yet. I'll give it a try and see if I can repro your difficulties.

Just to be clear, you could not post to the Comm Center at all? Or you could and there were extra blank lines? I'm not too clear on what your problems are. It might become obvious when I try to use it!

    Bob
I have the same problem on IE 9
(I am using Google Chrome to post my messages)
On IE 9 when you get to the point of typing your messages it will let you enter everything and the you push the send message button and,,,,

1.The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

The message I entered and got the error is the text above (more than 10Char).

    Thanks
    Mike

Is it showing that it is in "compatibility mode" (see attached image)? I can give you a long explanation of what that REALLY means (ha ha) but suffice it to say that if you have compatibility mode disabled, the forum software will probably break in strange ways because it thinks it]s talking to some previous version of IE which has the Steve Ballmer "embrace and extend" features and more importantly quirks!

Oe think I notice is that it is lightning fast with ACP's "Share Your Sky" web interface. Almost as good as Chrome.

Yeah, it needs compatibility mode. The icon should be blue not gray.
