Folks,

My work hours mean I'm crawling in bed as the sun goes down so I'm looking for bullet proof solutions for my astrophotography addiction. I'm convinced ACP will be a part of that.

I'm on a hunt for a GEM telescope mount - one that will reliably work with ACP. I just cancelled a 2 month old order on a mount mainly because of the beta status of the new controller and QC issues, but also partly because of issues folks have had getting it (and the original version) to behave with the ASCOM standard (and as such, with ACP).

I'm willing to wait and save until I can afford something that is rock solid - Would you folks be share the mount manufactures you have found work extremely well with ACP?

I'm currently looking at the Paramount MX and the AP900GTO or Mach1GTO, but there are other manufacturers out there and I can't afford trial and error so I'm hoping for advice from folks that have found little or no compatibility issues and also what to avoid.

Thanks in advance,

Robert Woodard
