Default ACP and ACP Sched tremendous!

    Hi Bob,

Just wanted to give a big thank you for your superb work on ACP and ACP Scheduler. Over the last four months I have been involved in an intense study of the unusual CV called FS Aur. In this time period I have taken over 7000 images of FS Aur. I could not have done this intense work without your tremendous products. These data ( and the data collected by several others) will be part of one or two important papers on this oddly behaving star system. The papers are being written by a professional astronomer in Finland. Because of Scheduler and it's brilliant design, other smaller campaigns were sandwiched in between the FS Aur runs. Bravo, Bob!

In addition, because of your excellent support, I was even able to do some beta testing of the new releases of both products without impacting the FS Aur work! There is NO OTHER software of any kind by any other developer that I would have even considered beta testing while attempting to do this kind of work.

It has been over four years (I think) since I first installed ACP and I have never had even one second of doubt about my choice of automation software!

    Thanks so much,

    ..george sjoberg

I also am here to give massive praise. I upgraded to 6.0 and my observatory hasn't had a lick of issue. All new features, no new problems. Scheduler didn't even notice the 5.x -> 6.0 change. This is the way upgrades are supposed to go!

All of 2010 was flawless, and so far 1Q into 2011, things are looking the same.

I can't wait for the new Scheduler!

Gosh guys, thanks!! Hearing from happy users/customers really lights my fuse.

The next Scheduler is nearly done. It got so big I am considering just making it a 4.0 release.

It has been two years (how is that possible!) and after more data taken by ACP and Scheduler, our major paper was recently published by the Royal Astronomical Society. Much of it made possible by ACP. If you have an interest in Cataclysmic Variables, drop me a note and ill get you a link. We have started work on two newly found CV's and again Scheduler is grinding out the data!

    Thanks Bob

Excellent, thanks for the update. I'm glad Scheduler is helping you generate the volume of data that makes your mission practical.

I'm back to again sing the praises of ACP/Scheduler. Our team recently published a paper on the CV Swift J1753.5 - 0127 (not exactly a poetic name, eh?) giving evidence that it may contain the smallest stellar black hole yet found. Though the majority of the evidence is spectroscopic and comes from satellite telescopes and large earth telescopes, the visual band evidence was gathered by an ACP/Scheduler controlled telescope in New Mexico over many, many nights. And again it was possible only because of Bob's excellent software. I wish it were possible to put a thanks in these papers to the Bob and his software. For now, a thanks here from Vitaly and myself must suffice.

    Thanks Bob!
