The globular cluster M3 (NGC 5272) is very rich in variable stars,with hundreds of RR Lyrae stars.

It doesn't have any representatin on most of the still photos. We've tracked with the students for 2 night on its variables.

Taken remotely with a 14" f/8.7 C14 Celestron and a ST8XE CCD camera.
