I'm using PinPoint since months now.

1. I implemented a telescope sync which helped me to reduce the time for initial synchronisation down to seconds (erecting scope, motor power on, connect, take picture, plate solve, sync).
2. During imaging I can see field-rotation from frame to frame by alalyzing center points real time.
3. My own drift align is supported by measuring declination drift.
4. In my calibration and stacking application I register the frames of one object with the support of PinPoint (find catalog stars in each frame and get 2 stars with the largest distance, translate, scale and rotate the frames on the basis of these two stars)
