    Default FocusMax/ROBOFocus connection issue

    I have a FocusMax/ROBOFocus connection issue as follows,

    -------------------------
    09:43:53 FocusMax Version 3.4.18
    09:43:53 System is RC16+U42+Reducer_20090204
    09:43:55 FocusMax Error 429: ActiveX component can't create object
    modComponents Sub LoadRoboFocus
    09:43:55 Could not find RoboFocus.exe
    09:43:55 MaxIm DL/CCD V 5. 3. 0 is the Imaging Software
    09:43:56 Could not find RoboFocus Window
    09:43:56 PinPoint is connected
    09:43:56 NOVAS-COM Vector Astrometry Engine is connected
    -------------------------

    Any ideas?

    MaxImDL5/ROBOFocus Connection is fine!

    My system is

    Windows XP Pro SP3
    FocusMax 3.4.18
    ASCOM5
    RoboFocus (3.0.7) driver
    .NET Frameworks 3.5 SP1

    Are you trying to connect MaxIm AND FocusMax to the RoboFocus at the same time? Are you starting MaxIm, connecting to the RoboFocus, then trying to start FocusMax? If so that might be the problem. Only one program can use the focuser at a time. If using FocusMax, you do not need the focuser in MaxIm.
