Default ACP Horizon Editor - New Version released (V 1.12)

    Hi all,

I'd like to announce a new Version of my ACP Horizon Editor.

These are the changes since Version 1.11:

    - Fixed a bug in the Interpolation-Routine introduced with V1.11
    - Fixed the problem which arises when the difference of two adjacent points is greater than 5 Degrees

I added a Column indicating wether the difference is greater than 5 Degrees (See also: http://forums.dc3.com/showthread.php?t=3025 and http://forums.dc3.com/showthread.php?t=3102).

If you try to save a Horizon with this flag, you will get a Warning and it is up to you if you want to fix the Values or save it and fix it later.
    You can download it here:

    Comments and suggestions always welcome!

    Kind Regards,

    Jörg

    Hello Tom,

Without any warning, yahoo geocities deleted my complete homepage at the end of October. So this link does not work anymore.

I found an interim solution to shift some pages to my weather server.
You can find the latest release here:
    http://tilfenobs.dyndns.org/AHE/

But be aware: My server is a little NAS with a 266MHz Processor. Since I have some hard- and software attached for testing purposes, this server might be down from time to time (because it crashes pretty fast if my software has problems )

If you have problems feel free to send me a Mail to tilfen att gmail dot com and I'll try to help asap.

    Kind regards,

    Jörg

Thank you for making this available again, but I can't run it.

I have tried to run the executable on two different machines, and got the same error. Attached is a screen shot of the error message. (I'm running Windows XP)

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Sorry for the trouble. Make sure that you have these two files on your system:
    MSFLXGRD.OCX
    and FLXGDDE.DLL

Please contact me off-List and I'll try to assist debugging your system.

    Regadrs,

    Jörg

The link to the Horizon Editor doesn't seem to work. Is this still available to download?

    Hi Joel,

Here's a copy of his .zip file. It should work for you.

I tried opening the file finally and I don't seem to have these files MSFLXGRD.OCX
    and FLXGDDE.DLL.

    Where would I get these?

    Thanks!

See attached zip file for MSFLXGRD.OCX (I could not find FLXGDDE.DLL anywhere on my computer.)

I run XP, and this file was located in C:\Windows\system32

    I hope this helps.
