Looking at the last set of release notes for MaxIm DL v6.50 in an archived VM, problems relating to DATE-OBS .fits keys and values were last mentioned as being fixed from v6.26 (Release date 2020-11-28).

For CMOS cameras with ASCOM access to set gain and offset live (without having to enter the ASCOM driver setup) you would need to be at MaxIm DL v6.30 or above (release date 2022-08-24) to avoid potential bugs).

That's the limit of my knowledge, if the above two replies don't solve the problem you would need to open a support topic over on the Diffraction Limited forum.
