The image field is so big that we reached the limit of stars from the Atlas catalog

The issue I was having was with NINA, not the plate solve software.

For reference, reduce the catalog Maximum Magnitude to reduce the number of stars coming from ATLAS. It has so many stars that you can blow out the 65000 star limit in PinPoint. Keep in mind that PinPoint only uses (by default) the 500 brightest stars in the image and the catalog.
