Hey Bob. Back in the states until tomorrow, Monday, at 2p. Happy to debrief any time.
Hi Grady -- Since I hadn't heard from you I peeked in on your system via the ACP web interface last night. I saw that it was stuck in PWI from 01:42 (about 45 minutes before) waiting for it to take its first 5 sec image. So I used the stop run button to kill it, and it and it immediately restarted PWI focus, so I logged off. I looked in again this morning and found that it had again gotten stuck during the autofocus and sat there all night waiting for PWI to take its first 5 second image like before. I killed that and the waiting M74 Observation started but it was way late and below the horizon (it had been selected at 02:18 before the first AF attempt. Now it's again stuck in PWI. I left it so you could see what's going on. I attached the Scheduler Engine 20221129@195455.txt log for possible future analysis
GOOD NEWS
The Exoplanet Plan ran night before last perfectly. I have attached the ACP sequence/run log CoRoT-5_b-20221128@075043.txt. 187 images, 4 hours. It started at 07:50, 2 minutes late. Maybe we can look at the Scheduler log from that night to see what was going on. I suspect it was the time taken by the initial PWI Autofocus. which is done separately. I'm interested if your images were saved in the desired folders and names as you wanted, and how the quality was. I noticed that we forgot to put #nosolve and #nopreview into the ImaeSet (see figure below) so its cadence was affected a bit (90 sec images were completing in 105 sec. so 15 sec overhead) The plate solves will save 5 sec, and the preview images for that big camera will save some more. So you're close to idea on the cadence.
Let me know what you found that is causing PWI to get stuck. It's just sitting there like that. I don't want to Remote in without you.

Hey Bob. Back in the states tonight, 11/30, through the morning.
Why would PWI hold up the autofocus? I just logged in and all looked ok.
Folders: They did not save in the folders, BUT the file names are correct per the script we wrote.
Always feel free to remote in without me.
Let's set up another debrief. I'm available Friday much of the day.
