    Default Reference star pointing problem

I selected the guide star ALPHERATZ, from the guide star list in ACP, to center the scope on. The star was off the bottom of the screen but centered. Then, I told ACP to have the scope go to the RA/Dec (J2000) of ALPHERATZ, and it centered perfectly. Have I dorked up a setting where selecting the target by name was off, but entering the J2000 was dead centered?

    Thanks.

I don't understand this. If you are using ACP's console as a software "handbox" then I get it. The star list in ACP came from a 3rd party many years ago. No one uses it (it's a fossil from the old days). Doing this uses ACP to test PWI and the mount without any help from ACP itself. It's interesting that it was centered using the current coordinates given the 15 arc min pointing error in your other post.
