The cool thing about the Boltwood III is that it works over WiFi and uses Alpaca so is accessible from any platform. On Windows, the ASCOM Chooser automatically makes an adapter so it is accessible from ASCOM, avoiding the "1-line data file" interfacing method. I'm not "recommending" it (I try to stay hardware neutral) just making an observation and expressing my delight that it uses Alpaca instead of a shared data file and an app.
