Hi, Rich,

i have 16A installed and ready to test. I just got my camera back from “repair,” and there hasn’t been a clear night here since. When I have the chance, I will have a run and see whether I have the same result.

Thanks Dick Had some clear skies here last night for awhile before the clouds moved in. Well I tested 16A and found it doesn't work so well. I restored 15E back from my backups pretty sure that will work until Steve has a chance to check out the issue. I did take a look through the ini files to make sure there was nothing missing, I didn't find anything missing or set wrong.

Yes this is FocusMax speaking inside the yellow box. Something went wrong in Multi-Star, and we now know that it was multi-star since we can see the ACP log. Thanks!

Steve since ACP 9 has multiple modes for FocusMax 5 you may want to find out what mode he was using.

Richard, please post the ACP run log from this problematic run.

Hi Steve,

I think I told you I have my camera back from its vacation in California. Now I'm waiting for clear sky and a bit more moderating temperature than below zero (F). I've got to get out to the observatory to reset the telescope focus to the midpoint of the Optec focuser's range, possibly replace the cabling between the computer and camera, and then doing a pole align and also flats. All with ACP 9FT2 and FMx16A. Just so you know where I'm at right now. The weather's been awful here for a long time.

I have been testing ACP / ACPS 9 with Multi-Star focus for 2.5 hrs and have not seen any issues - not a single failure.
