    Default The Pleiades (M45)

The Pleiades as seen by the Kalamazoo Astronomical Society's Remote Telescope (specifically the Takahashi FSQ-106EDX3 and STX-16803 CCD camera) at Arizona Sky Village near Portal. Images were acquired by KAS members Thom Peters and I using ACP, of course. It is a 4-hour total exposure. Individual sub-frame exposures were taken through Astrodon 50-mm Gen2 E-Series Tru-Balance LRGB Filters (12 x 300-seconds each).

It was processed with PixInsight and tweaked with Adobe Lightroom by yours truly.

Oh my gosh!!! This a is a wonderful image Richard!!! It’s soooo difficult to get the dynamic range your have in this photograph.

I’m so glad you’re getting good use of ACP to provide remote automated image acquisition for your club members and others.

    Thanks for sharing!
