Sounds like a good idea. Anytime between 14:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC is convenient. (I will be here anyhow with the spanish lockdown.)
Just let me know the approx time. I have TeamViewer installed and can send you my landline phone number or you can give me yours..
And yes, control with the URL sent earlier is possible.
Sorry for causing so much trouble with something that looked like a simple question (for you)

OK, TeamViewer is what I use, and we have a commercial account so the "Remote Assistance" tool in ACP is a special TeamViewer. I tried calling your Netherlands phone which we have here +31 51 *** **38 but no answer. I just sent you email to your gmail address for a phone number. We can also do this tomorrow (Friday) at 1600 UTC or later.

We found your Spain number. Let's try for tomorrow morning (friday) at 1600 UTC.

A bit over one hour on the phone remote assistance. His switch randomly fails the HTTP transaction with a 500 error. The code works but it is unreliable. Sometimes we had to loop over 50 times to get it to fail. I added some wacky retry logic to it and it only needs to be retried once (though it can be retried up to 10 times). So far so good.

    Hi Bob,
    Good News!
The change you made to the script is effective.

Some further tests gave a failure rate of the (http command -powerbox response) of 6.4% when sending the initial http command.
But..., your "try...catch, and Retry" part of the script caught and repaired them all.
So the end result when running the script is a 100% success rate.

Congratulations, and thank you again for helping me out.

Excellent. I hope not many people realize that I violated my principle of not creating "software victories over hardware"... ha ha ... but this one is low risk.

Tom, did yo uever get control of your Synaccess? We use one and I'd love to see some working control of how to access it from ACP.

    Thanks,

    Russ
