Hello,

I have installed a big 1350VA alternative power source (APS) that will close my Pier-Tech roof as well as keep the computers running for about an hour with no external power.

I checked with Vito and I guess there is no way to have the roof shut itself without the computer…. I guess further I will have to hope that the backup power is good enough to keep it all running until the city power comes back on.

I do not have the cloud sensor directly attached to the controller as this seemed to conflict with the ASCOM control via the computer. This might give a redundant way to shut the roof if it failed with the initial power loss... but there is no identifiable failure now with the APS installed.

The problem I see is that if the power goes down and does not come back in about an hour the roof could be left open….

Is there any ACP magic that could help with this issue?
