"Wait for slew to complete" takes forever

Hello,
I am experiencing a strange problem.
A session is started and everything runs fine.
At a certain point a Meridian flip is successfully performed.
After the flip a focus session is successfully performed.
After this 1 or 2 images are taken successfully and at some point a re-slew to target is done but then nothing happens anymore.
The telescope status shows: Slew 0.0°
The run log window shows: (wait for slew to complete)
I have waited 15 - 20 minutes but nothing happens, after that I stopped the session.
If I re-enable the Scheduler again, everything runs fine again.
