    Bob,
    I was trying to reply to your reply to my message about the ShutdownObs.js problem I was having, but I kept getting this response from (your?) server. Have you ever seen this before? I tried more than twice.

    This seems to be a transient and relatively rare problem. I can't ever repro it of course, but I've had a few reports of it. I can't make any sense of the trillions of lines of PHP code that forms this widely used forum system either....

    It is indeed mysterious. One other annoyance that is definitely in Google Chrome, if you post to the Comm Center, and your post contains a link to another post in the Comm Center, you get a cross-site scripting error and it won't take you back to your post. You have to go to the home page then navigate back. Irritating. There is a way to turn it off in Chrome, but I like the extra security elsewhere so I just live with it.
