The live DC3-3 Dreams TV session Bob did on 2018-06-23 covered the use of Cloud-based storage services like DropBox.

What is your experience with using ACP to deliver the acquired images this way?
Are the users happy?
What if there is an internet outage at the observatory - does DropBox (or other similar solution) recover automatically? Or does this give us headaches?
I assume that if you keep the essential, mission critical files on a local drive, and just put the acquired images on the DropBox that is is a pretty safe bet.

What about building libraries of flats, darks, bias frames - can these be conveniently shared? Obviously they change over time, with dust, growing hot pixels, and bit-rot.

Would like to get your experience and any guidance.
e.g. anything to do, or to avoid.

Thanks in advance,
Colin
