I have to add, I'm still having trouble with both the Foster AstroHaven ASCOM dome driver AND also the 2011-era AstroHaven ASCOM dome driver that Meunier wrote which is available on the ASCOM-standards web site. Both won't operate reliably for me from ACP's interface. Standalone, Foster's works fine, but something disables or doesn't enable its use for me when, for example, parking the telescope at the end of the evening is also supposed to close the dome. I haven't done enough probing to know exactly where the problem lies. (All the setup parameters are correct as far as I can tell.) This is, of course, bad for Scheduler operation, since I can't depend on a reliable dome operation in a cloudy or bad weather event.

For my Astrohaven clamshell the TTY interface (using PuTTY) works fine. If I could get or write a script to drive the dome closing and opening directly over the USB serial port, I would do that. I'd skip the ASCOM interface. But, not having that, do you know, for example, if Meunier's dome driver is still viable?

I will do more snooping around to see if I can dope out what's going wrong, and I'll start a new thread when I have more to say. I'm not sure what I'm asking for now, but if something comes to mind, or if you have any insights based on what you've seen at other "AstroHaven" observatories, it would help me.
