    Default "BrightSkies" reincarnated

Some of you will know my family and I moved to central New York this past summer, leaving the real bright skies of Washington DC behind for good. Over the past several weeks I've had a new observatory built in a field 500 feet east of our house. There's now an unobstructed sky view from NE through S to NW. The building is finished, but fitting it out inside is still in progress. Here's a picture of my currently nameless observatory. I hope to be up and running by December 1st.

It looks like a dream come true! You did a beautiful job setting that up. Now we will keep our fingers crossed for at least some good skies over the winter there.
