OK, I hope this will lead to your using ACP there and becoming a customer. I know your partner Dan Duriscoe used it for a long time with the NPS. Hopefully this will do what you wish. Attached is a zipfile with the WSC (which you must register), a sample run log, and the sample observing plan that was used to check out the logic. Here's the plan FYI:

    #interval 10
    #binning 1
    #count 1
    #filter V
    Equ1 14 55

    #interval 10,15,15
    #binning 1,1,1
    #count 1,2,1
    #filter V,R,B
    #tag AltAz=160.321,55.567
    AltAz1 0 0

    #interval 10
    #binning 1
    #count 1
    #filter V
    Equ2 13.5 50

    Hi Bob.
Thank you so much! This is greatly appreciated! Dan and I will be visiting the project site next month and once everything is approved (which I am confident of) and funding secured we will purchase an ACP license. The support you provide for your excellent product is exemplary!

    Best wishes,
    Simon.

    Bob,

Just to confirm usage of this neat bit of code:

Registering any version of a UserActions script will replace the previous. If one wished to incorporate features such as this into an exisiting modified version of UserActions, one would have to merge the code?

Also - using your example plan above - could #waituntil be used as a rudimentary way to add some 'timing' to each target in the plan?

    HI Paul --

    Yes.

If one wished to incorporate features such as this into an exisiting modified version of UserActions, one would have to merge the code?
Yes, only one UserActions can be active at a time.

could #waituntil be used as a rudimentary way to add some 'timing' to each target in the plan?
Yes, that is the purpose of the #waitxxxx directives:

As always, this is a roadmap to the info not an "RTFM" criticism :-)
