The good news is that it seems like the AO sort of works now with the new release (6.14) of Maxim. I actually managed to get a series of subs hands-off with no failures and no 'sacrificial' subs..

However, there is a problem. It seems like after one successful acquisition of a set of sub of the same target (guider ran the whole time) it won't work after that. It fails on the very first guider exposure while trying to choose the guide star and exposure. Below is the tail end of a representative log file.


Any suggestions?
