Finally, some good weather. During the downtime, I updated TheSkyX from 10.2 to 10.5. This may have been a mistake...
My preferred configuration is to use the ASCOM 2X Mount Adapter, with "Inhibit Sync to protect TPoint Model" disabled. A snapshot of the configuration dialog for this driver is attached. I don't have a TPoint license (I used to, a long time ago with TheSky 6), and I prefer to use the ACP pointing correction. I notice that TPoint is offered as a 90-day trial the TheSkyX Pro, and it seems to be "present" in the TheSkyX installation, though disabled.
However, in this configuration, I now get an error (log attached) in the AcquireImages.js script:
02:47:44 **Script Error (Tracking has been stopped)**
02:47:44 Source: System.Dynamic
02:47:44 Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
02:47:44 Location: line 1525 column 33.
If I enable the "Inhibit Sync" option, AcquireImages runs without error, but the pointing is poor to the point of causing plate-solve failures.
Current versions:
ACP: 8.1.1
ASCOM: 6.3
ASCOM 2x Mount Adapter: 6.1
TheSkyX: 10.5
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Michael Smith
