    Default IC 410 The Tadpoles

    Hey Bob:

Thanks for all the great tech support this fall! That last two hour session really brought the pieces together. After our last online session, I started taking a slew of images on several different targets. Here's one of the first complete, all-ACP gathered images I did since September. Thought you might like to see how it came out:

Good heavens! And I mean it ha ha. There was a time when I doubted that you'd be able to get going with SCP. I can see that you have land the results are simply spectacular. Thanks for posting.

Grant, What a wonderful achievement and fantastic image! Seconding what Bob said, I also recall the struggles you've had getting to this point. This picture is worthy of an APOD submission. Good work.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Bob, I couldn't be more thrilled. A lot of the problems were with FocusMax failing. Turns out there's a table that defines the minimum and maximum exposure times. Those maximum exposure times were way too short for narrowband imaging, causing the focusing to fail. I upped the exposure table times up to 30 seconds as well as increasing the base minimums. Now, FocusMax is working with individual exposure times upwards of 13 seconds. Now that FocusMax is working, everything else is falling in line.
