Insert Filters from Maxim...

Hello ,
i tried to set up filters with "get from maxim" button , and didn't. Now this button is grey and i can not write manually in available filters... Any ideas ?
I run again the .exe but nothing.

Is this in the ACP Planner? If you have ACP Expert with the scheduler, you do not need the Planner. Depending on y ur answer we can go from there.

Hello Bob , yes i have the expert .
But give me sometime because i think i have a major malfunction with my hard drive and might need a new one.
Just in case , if i need to change hard drive what should i back up and what is the correct way to do it (sorry if my question is not in the correct category)

Oh no! To save your settings, use the Save Profile in ACPs "ACP" menu. Also do this in MaxIm where it is called Configurations in the File menu. ACP produces a Single ZIP file in My Documents\ACP Astronomy\Profiles. I think Maxim uses a directory for each Configuration but check with MaxIm docs. Then copy to a thumb drive.

It's also useful to get a low-cost box which lets you put your old disk into it and then it is a USB external drive.
