    Default My Pinpoint license status

    Hi Stephanie,

I use pinpoint in conjunction with some photometry software called LesvePhotometry. I have some airhead (thats me) questions:

    a. Do i have a pinpoint license or am I piggybacking off of ACP?
    b. Is my license up to date? i.e. do I pay for yearly support?
    c. I run ACP in New Mexico, but LesvePhotometry runs here in New England. Is that kosher?
    d. Now that we are grandparents we travel a lot more . I've installed LesvePhotometry on a laptop (a second platform) Am I entitled to run pinpoint on this second computer?

    Thank you!

ACP includes PinPoint and that means PinPoint to use for any purpose you want. But that would only be for the NM computer. Technically speaking you would need a separate PinPoint license for the other system(s). As long as it's installed on one system or the other, one license will do.

The good news is that you have a separate PinPoint license too. It expired in Nov 2014, but it's probably OK to run PinPoint 6.0 (for which you are eligible) with Lesve. So here is the link to the PinPoint 6.0e installer which you can use on your non-ACP systems. I have sent the PinPoint license to your gmail address.

Hey, that's what I'm here for. The instructions are in the message containing the license, but I agree it's obscure (due to PinPoint being a "hosted engine"). The separate license entry app is under the Windows Start Menu, All apps, PinPoint, Register PinPoint.
