WOW!!!!! EXCELLENT!!!! The trick was almost certainly to do it for TheSKy, which allowed its registration info to go into the right place!!! THANK YOU FOR LETTING US KNOW ARTHUR!
Unfortunately that doesn't solve the 64 bit issue. It's one I suspect will become move common as time goes on. Many more laptops and desktops are now shipping with Win 7 64 bit than with earlier versions of Windows. I can't say why other than 64 bit drivers are becoming more common.
Did you try operating all the programs as if it was vista service pack2 compatible. Start with the Sky, then ACP, next Planner, Capture and Quick. I operate a vista 32 bit laptop and all work well. Give this a try on your 64 bit machine. Good luck.
Steve -- Sorry I got the problems mixed up. The 64-bit discussion is over here and I'm going to look at it again asap. I'm 90% certain it's with TheSky's scripting and if it is I can't fix it.
Hi! I have the same problem and canīt get ACP Plan Capture to work with TheSky6 on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine.
Have you found any solution?
All best
Christian
I haven't heard anything more on this and it wasn't a show stopper for me as I have several other systems that run 32 Bit XP Pro that I use to generate plans.
There is no way to make it work on 64-bit with TheSky 6. Bisque is still working on this issue for TheSky X, per Matt Bisque. It will be a while (at least) before I have Planner going with TheSky X. There are many things to address, some of which aren't functional in TheSky X yet (and I can't guarantee they will be functional any time soon).
