Manually Restoring a ACP Profile Configuration from old PC to replacement PC

After being forced to replace old observatory PC (XP Pro) with a new one (Win7Pro), I reinstalled APC Version ACP-7.2. Fortunately I have all files from old PC backed up. Before I update to Version 8.1, Is it possible to migrate (files) from my old configuration profile to the new APC install rather than have to totally manually re-enter my last observatory configuration preferences. One big problem is there are no saved backup configuration profile ZIP files in old My Documents\ACP Astronomy\Profiles that would make this an easier task.

Larry -- Unless you can fire up that old computer and save the profile, no. I have tried to fudge this for people in the past and monumentally failed.

Sorry, that's one of the big reasons that the profiles were added.

Bob...Thanks for your time. I did save profiles but for some strange reason those zip files are not to be found from backups. Had to ask before I do the dance.

Look again. They will be in C:\Documents and Settings\ (XP) or C:\Users\ (w7/8/10) \YourName\Documents\ACP Astronomy\Profiles

Bob. Thanks for taking your valuable time. I did go back again and checked carefully both my cloud and external drive back-ups. All Profiles folders were empty. Its a mystery because I remember naming them with dates. I even searched full backups *.*.zip finding all but the date named zip files. I guess I have no choice except do the full preferences dance. Thanks again. (we can close thread unless you have more thoughts)

No more thoughts. It won't take that long to get the system set up on the new system, now that you're familiar with it.

Almost there Bob. OK new system up, Preferences complete , updated Support & Upgrades and did the ACP Personal Internet Version 8.1. When I check Enable web server I get "Failed to start web server. Permission Denied. Indicates that user does not have appropriate permissions to use this functionality." Also Use Web Browser button stays dim. I read what I could find in forum but none seems to apply. All other functions of observatory seem to operate fine i.e. MaximDL , Dome, weather, mount and cameras. Just have no Web Browser available.
