Have to say I am having trouble posting and getting this error:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

I any case, will try to read as you suggested. I am a bit skeptical that I will get better focusing with an offset than using the actual filter.

What browser are you using? The forum software is a commercial system, as are the visual styles. Which style are you using? It's possible that one of them has a problem (I had to research this on the vBulletin forums). Try changing to a different style. If you can reproduce it on a given style I might be able to look at it and see what's happening.
