FocusMax doesn't run now
Just in the last few days, Norton AV has quarantined something called FocusMaxUpdate.exe. This on two computers where I have FocusMax installed. Now I cannot get the FocusMax application (neither V3 nor V4) on either computer to run. The version I'm typically running is file version 4.1.0.289 (product version 4.01.0028) from May 2016.

This file is still in the Norton quarantine folder, and I could recover it and apply it. Or at least put it back in the FocusMax folder. Should I?
Am I the only person with this issue?

I also run Norton.
4.1.0.72 is the latest. I just updated to it. During the uninstall process, I got an error, and found the previous version was running still. It didnt terminate properly. After fixing that, it installed and runs ok.
There's been a bunch of issues with False Positives lately - had that happen with a ZWO ASI driver update 3.0.0.3 a day or two ago.
I've reported that one.
Not sure about FMAX though.
Maybe try doing a LiveUpdate on your Norton.

I went ahead and recovered the quarantined file and did the update using it. There couldn't have been anything wrong with the update file. The FocusMaxUpdate.exe file in the FocusMax V4 folder has a 11/30/2014 date on it. I can't believe I haven't updated since then! Everything seems to work fine now. This was surely a false positive.
